Our reputation and experience in this area is so extensive that we were one of only six (6) nationwide organizations asked to assist The Department of State and The Division of Licensing Services in developing the course curriculum for all mandated training courses for the licensing of security officers in the State of New York.


We created our New York State Certified Security Officer Training School in 1992 (Mulligan Security Corporation Code # 310140) and our vision was to create a facility that provided specialized instruction for the security industry only. Its purpose was to ensure the highest level of standard and to provide continual training programs to all of our security officers in addition to those mandated by the Security Guard Act of 1992. All training is performed by in-house instructors to control the content, time frame and quality of the curriculum.


In addition to the “Eight Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course”, the “Sixteen Hour on the Job Training Course” and the “Eight Hour Annual Refresher Course”, our high level of professionalism is maintained by mandatory attendance from all of our employees in custom tailored classes such as, “Prevention of Sexual Harassment”, “Cultural Diversity”, “Sensitivity Awareness” and “Effective Communication Skills”.
