Phase I – Development Stage

An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is developed along with standardized training manuals and presentations that communicate a clear and consistent message. An EAP Director is assigned by Mulligan to oversee the plan and to be a 24/7 resource for clients. Site-specific instructor manuals for tenant instructional drills, tenant stairwell familiarization drills and all floor simultaneous drills are all developed.

The FDNY is in the process of modifying Local Law 26 to allow for additional computer-based training. Mulligan is working with the FDNY to ensure we always make the best use of new technologies to make training easier and more effective.

Mulligan also handles all amendments and revisions to the EAP, and submits them to the FDNY.
